Fandango adds National Trade Show division
Baltimore small business operated by Cermak sisters lands national clients, projects
BALTIMORE, MD—October 18, 2004—Baltimore-based Fandango Special Events, the region's fastest growing event management company, has added a trade show division to offer management services and custom booth design for its regional and national accounts.
Most recently, Fandango created a series of interactive show booths for AOL, to promote AOL Music, AOL Broadband, and AOL inStore, and a show floor lounge for Win-Win Strategies Foundation in New Orleans. Currently, the design team is working on a booth for Kaiser Permanente, integrating their new "Thrive" campaign.
Regionally, MEDWEEK (Minority Enterprise Development, US Department of Commerce,) Diamond Comics, and Prince George's County Chamber of Commerce all tapped Fandango for trade show management and exhibitor services management last month at exhibitions in the Greater DC and Baltimore areas.
"Our trade show division is an outgrowth of the current trend toward face-to-face marketing," notes Fandango VP Dawn Cermak. "Corporate America is increasingly turning to 'event marketing' to enhance its advertising strategy, and trade shows are the most significant facet."
Adds Cermak: "Trade shows are living media that bring the brand to life for customers, employees, and vendors. Recent studies show that businesses realize measurable results when they provide opportunities for customers to experience their services and products."
Founded by Dawn and Erin Cermak in 1989, Fandango has grown from a small prop business to a 120-employee event design, production, and management company with a national reputation for producing innovative signature events.
